Terms and conditions

Adult sessions

By attending live, face to face sessions you agree that:

  • The client will not attend class if they or anyone in their household displays symptoms of Covid-19;

  • The client acknowledges that procedures are subject to change at any time.

  • During the session we have taken all reasonable care in ensuring that our programmes are safe. However, the client agrees that they will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury. The client acknowledges that they have been advised to consult with their physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, health problem or any other condition or medication that may affect their participation in any LK Studio session.

  • The client assumes the above risks and accepts responsibility for any injury sustained by them and agrees to hold LK Studio, including its Instructors, from any liability arising from any injury to them or other persons or property caused by their participation in LK Studio sessions.

  • LK Studio takes no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or expense incurred by a client whilst participating in a session or whilst on the premises of where a session is taking place.

  • LK Studio operates a ‘zero-tolerance’ policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour. This includes any personal, abusive or threatening comments, bad language, physical contact and aggressive gestures. This means that no abuse of Instructors or other clients is acceptable, whether verbal or physical and any client behaving in this manner will be removed from the Studio with immediate effect. In some cases the police will be called.

  • Bookings to the LK Studio sessions are non-refundable after the cut-off period of 8 hours.

  • By participating in our classes, the client agrees that refunds will not be issued due to sickness, holiday leave, weather condition or other ‘Force Majeure’.

  • The client agrees that any claim made against LK Studio, including its Instructors, will be made in writing within 30 days of the incident taking place and failure to report in writing within this time will negate any such claim.

  • Damage and Liability: As the client, you are responsible for the conduct of all participants during your booking period. Any damage to the studio property or equipment caused during your usage will be charged to you. This includes, but is not limited to, any breakages, spills, or other damages.

  • Food and Drink Restrictions: No food or drinks, with the exception of bottled water, are allowed inside the studio space. This is to maintain the cleanliness and professional environment of our studio.

  • Footwear Policy: To protect our professional Harlequin vinyl dance flooring, we require that no street shoes or outdoor shoes be worn in the studio. Only gym, sports, or dance shoes are permitted. Shoes with heels are allowed only if they are equipped with floor protectors. Tap-dance shoes or any footwear that can potentially damage the vinyl floor are strictly prohibited. Outdoor shoes are to be stored in the shoe rack located in the lounge area.

  • Noise and Behavior: Please be considerate of others using the studio and maintain a reasonable noise level. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of your session without a refund.

  • Equipment and Facility Use: Clients are not permitted to switch on/off heaters or interact with the studio's Google Nest tablet or any other electronic devices. These devices are set to ensure optimal conditions within the studio and should only be adjusted by authorized personnel.

  • Physical Contact: The instructor may use physical contact to correct students' postures and techniques during the class. This is to ensure proper form and to prevent injury. If you have any concerns about this, please discuss them with the instructor before the class begins.

  • Adherence to Studio Rules: You agree to follow all studio rules and regulations as posted within the studio or communicated by studio staff.

Children sessions

By attending live, face to face sessions you agree that:

  • You will not attend class if you or anyone in your household displays symptoms of Covid-19;

  • During the Children classes we have taken all reasonable care in ensuring that their programmes are safe. However, the Parent and/or Carer agrees that their child will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury. The Parent and/or Carer acknowledges that they have been advised to consult with their child’s physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, health problem or any other condition or medication that may affect their child’s participation in classes.

  • The Parent and/or Carer assumes the above risks and accepts responsibility for any injury sustained by their child and agrees to discharge and hold LK Studio, including its Instructors, from any liability arising from any injury to your child or other persons or property caused by your child’s participation in any sessions.

  • LK Studio takes no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or expense incurred by a Pupil and or Parent/Carer whilst participating in a class or whilst on the premises of where a class is taking place.

  • By participating in our classes, you agree that refunds will not be issued due to sickness, holiday leave, weather condition or other ‘Force Majeure’.

  • Bookings to the LK Studio events are non-refundable after the cut-off period of 8 hours.

  • LK Studio reserves the right to exclude a Parent and/or Carer and/or Pupil from a class permanently, or for the time they feel necessary, due to behaviour that is not deemed acceptable within a class.
